When pronunciation is a big problem

I think English is an ambiguous language,
for example, let's talk about "You" as ONLY you, and "You" as much  people,
or when you have to speak about  the gender: " I have a dinner with my friend" and suddenly they look at you with archness, but your are actually talking about your "female" friend...
But the most ambiguous thing in english is " I LOVE YOU".
Do you love me as a friend or as a boyfriend? Who knows! 

Well, sometimes I really can't understand this ambiguous english, and you?

Then there is another little hindrance: PRONUNCIATION.
If you open a little bit more your mouth while you are saying a word, it can change completely its meaning.
Once I was with my friend ( a male friend), and I told him to don't shave off his beard, and he started to laugh...without stopping for at least 10 minutes, I couldn't understand why! And maybe it was better to not knowing...

Credo che l'inglese di per sè sia già una lingua ambigua...
prendiamo ad esempio il "TU" e il "VOI" , che è sempre "YOU"
o ad esempio il genere femminile e maschile che tanto volte non esiste:
I have a dinner with a friend
e subito gli sguardi maliziosi, quando invece si tratta solo di un amicA!
Oppure la frase ambigua per eccellenza.
I LOVE YOU. 
Si, ma come amico o amore amore?

Insomma, a volte io questi inglesi li trovo proprio ambigui... e voi?
Alla sua ambiguità si aggiunge poi il problema della pronuncia.
Perchè a volte basta aprire leggermente di più la bocca nel pronunciare una parola che il suo significato cambia completamente.
Così un giorno mi sono ritrovata a dire ad un amico di non tagliarsi la barba. E con mio grande stupore lui si mise a ridere... ma ridere davvero tanto, e io non capivo il perchè, e forse sarebbe stato meglio non saperlo.
